Kazakhstan Bible School, March 2002

In March, 50 children were able to attend Bible school through sponsorship from money raised through the CSTCF. Here we see children attending the spring Bible School in Kazakhstan thanks to the generosity of brothers and sisters throughout the world who have responded to our appeal for the child sponsorship program. This program enables a child in any country to be able to afford to attend Bible School where previously financial restraints prohibited their attendance. The fund provides proceeds for ground transportation, accommodation and kits and is administered through CBM linkmen for the respective areas. By God's grace, they are enjoying fellowship with others of like precious faith.

"Rinat and I journeyed on to Kokshetau to run the annual Kazakhstan Bible School. There was an excellent attendance of children as well as adults- many thanks to the Christadelphian Save The Children Fund for their support of the children's activities. We used the same venue as before. Northern Kazakhstan is so broken down that it's hard to find a suitable facility for these events. Bro. David Pearce gave some excellent talks on Elijah, and the weekend went very well indeed. There is developing a good sense of community amongst the brethren and sisters." - Duncan Heaster
