Letters from those who travelled from Tel Aviv Israel and attended the Wales CYC camp showed appreciation for the camp environment and fellowship shared with other young people. The following words were expressed by one teenager: \u201cThe one thing that I noticed at the camp in Wales after settling into my tent for the night was the silence, the absence of bombs going off overhead and the peaceful calm\u201d and sense of security. (male, age 17).<\/p>\n

\u200bChildren and chaparones travelled for 4 days by rail to attend the first Russian Bible School, providing them with lessons in Russian, supplies and ground transportation and week-long accommodation. They showed up for class 1\/2 hour before class began and at the end of week were given their \u201ckit bags\u201d stuffed with lesson books, crafts, supplies to take home.<\/p>\n

Plastic large shipping barrels of supplies sent to the Caribbean islands each year are multi-purposeful:
\n1. Holding supplies, imperishable food, clothing for Sunday School and outreach use.
\n2. Shipping barrels serve as much needed \u201cholding tanks\u201d for fresh rainwater retention.
\n3. Cost for shipping barrels regardless of weight is 1\/10 of the cost of one 20 X 20 box postal rates.
